ABOUT Bison’s bounty…

Anyone familiar with Pinedale knows that it is a charming town, and we hope our quaint little shop will only add to the sense of community that makes the town so special. In fact, Bison's Bounty is located in what was originally the Pinedale Hotel, built in 1904, making it the oldest building in our town. The rich history of the building itself is an honor we actually take very seriously. We want this sweet little store to be a place to gather - whether for a quick stop, or a long visit. So if you're on the run, swing by for a delicious hot cup of coffee to go. Or if you have some time, come find a comfy spot to savor some gourmet chocolates, maybe with a good book. Or you could grab a friend and catch up over a plate of fresh, hot donuts. Maybe you're on the hunt for that perfect gift, or a souvenir that will help you remember beautiful, breathtaking Wyoming. Whatever brings you our way, we can't wait to see you! We get so much joy from each person who comes to visit, and we hope you feel that same joy each time you walk through the door.

Amy’s Story

If I'm being honest, my mental picture of Wyoming was a vast expanse of flat, brown, lifeless land. When my brother and sister-in-law announced that they were moving to Pinedale, my initial thought was, "Why in the world would you do that?" But then I helped them move, and it was game over. At the time, I was living in Bend, Oregon, and I was fairly certain that it was the most beautiful place on the planet. Visiting Wyoming that very first time, though, I discovered that I was wrong. The most beautiful place in the world was right here in Pinedale. My love for the town only grew as I was able to spend more time here and interact with the people. So within months, I was hatching a plan to join my family. There were a lot of potential ideas about what to do for a job, but with the helpful input of friends, family, and Pinedale residents, I finally decided on taking a big leap of faith, and opening my own store. Seeing this vision come together has been an amazing culmination of everything I already love: coffee (the sweet nectar of life!), baked goods (in pretty much any form), gift giving (is there anything more satisfying than finally finding that PERFECT gift?!?), and people!!! Being able to serve the people of Pinedale, and being surrounded each day by things I love truly is a dream come true. I am one thankful girl!
